Abstract
For the common person, the process of knowledge covers from the moment the newborn begins to see spots of light and colour devoid of meaning. In a short time he comes to understand the immediate, just as it happens with the rest of the animals. Then, he gradually acquires the concepts of past and future and incorporates language. For sensory impressions, which convey messages from reality, to acquire meaning, they must be structured by conceptual networks, which are fundamentally linguistic. Hence the importance of analyzing meanings, of not giving up the argumentative function of language, of not staying at the purely sensory level.
