Abstract

Some time ago Saint Anselm of Aosta formulated the so-called «ontological argument», in which he raised an interested version of the principle of identity. At present it seems that an attempt is being made to vindicate this type of argument, for example, in publications such as Spain is not a myth, in which it is exhaustively formulated that the word «Spain» is not a myth because it «exists» and likewise, it is concluded in Why I am a Christian that «Christianity, like all cultural creations, has no essence, but history», a thesis that, if memory serves me correctly, reformulates that of a previous author who, if it made sense at the time, in this case devalues it and converts it into the Aosta tautology. Is there any product that is not cultural? Even at the risk of being burned at the stake (or is he not referring to that cultural process?), given the current times, if God existed, wouldn't the world be a cultural creation?
