Abstract

After Lindos y tornadizos (2016), Fernando Miguel Pérez Herranz surprises us again with this far-reaching book, Ambiguus Proteus (2019). It is striking that it is such a heterogeneous work, and at the same time so unitary. It is a complex and admirably cohesive answer to the question about what is man (what politics, culture, humanity, history...), from the background of the changes that have taken place in our animal nature.
