That ten years is not nothing

Abstract

The Ricardo Sánchez Ortiz de Urbina’s thought has not ceased to evolve, without always giving his readers time to catch their breath. The «stopover» represented by «Que diez años es mucho...», must therefore have been greeted with relief and gratitude! Situated halfway between the strictly stromatological writings and those that will give rise to Orden oculto (2021), leaving no hint of the most recent breakthroughs, this text nevertheless brings together with patience and rigour years of reflection on the meaning of a philosophy that operates at the level of the eikôn and the microscopic, without renouncing its systematic character. It constitutes a prerequisite for a good understanding of the phenomenological epistemology that RSOU would build a few years later. Above all, it provides an indispensable complement to what we propose to call his «stromatological perspective»: that which intends to reveal, in the Sache, a diversity of layers (stromata) held together by a «foliatile» structure, the superposition or millefeuille of the levels thus articulated. Only a philosophy of phenomenological stromata does not yet make a world. Other conceptual parameters are required, more encompassing, which had perhaps never been the subject of a systematic treatment under Ricardo’s pen. The risks of confusion between all these terms are now overcome.
