Abstract
In this paper, the author deals with the notions of “transcendence” and “self” in the later works of Marc
Richir. Starting from the analysis of the quadruple function of “absolute transcendence”, this article focuses specifically on the articulation of “transcendence” and “selfhood”. It
carries out the “moment of sublime” at the root of the “self”. It allows to clarifiy the Kantian influences on Richir’s conception of the “self” and tobring to light the originality of this conception in the discussion with Fichte’s and Schelling’s conceptions of reflexivity.
