Abstract

The essay explores three deep emotional states that emerge from human existence in these cybernetic times. One of these states is transient state, understood as a form of moral and physical suffering inherent to the human condition, marked by the inevitability of life and death. However, there is what could be called a transitory transient state, a form of this same pain that can be overcome or transformed. This arises from situational crises in the social, economic, or political spheres and can be mitigated through strong institutions and a resilient social fabric.

On the other hand, there is the hyper transient state, which represents an excess of anguish, pain, and unbearable suffering in the face of devastating events that continue unabated. It is an extreme emotional experience, difficult to overcome.

The world and the cyberworld appear as a scenario marked by the transient, the transient, and the hyper transient, which move between a polycrisis, understood as multiple interrelated crises. In this context, the Dominican Republic is cited as an example of how the transient is reflected in the human face marked by social and cultural history. The urgent task in these transient and cybernetic times is not only to resist pain, but to give it meaning and build community despite the vertigo of the present.
