Abstract
Starting from Nietzsche's ontology of forces, in this paper we will look for convergences between two key concepts of two fundamental thinkers of the twentieth century. On the one hand, thought in Gilles Deleuze; on the other, nothingness in Heidegger. Our aim is to interweave them and to raise ourselves to fight against nihilism. Therefore, we will first present Nietzsche's ontology of forces; then, around the meaning of forces, we will study the will to power and nihilism, reformulating the two classical Nietzschean meanings. Then, always within the framework of the ontology of forces, we will give way to the study of nothingness in Heidegger and Deleuzian thought. Finally, before the conclusions, we will unite thought and nothingness using Nietzsche's heraldic animals, that is, the serpent and the eagle, respectively.
