Abstract

The unexpected loss of our friend Pablo Posada Varela on September 12 represents a tragedy that can hardly be expressed. Writing about something or someone involves an exercise in distance; It consists, above all, in searching, choosing, and taking a perspective (or several, perhaps all of them united in the concretion of a spectrum, the phenomenologizing spectrum, a conceptual figure coined by Paul). If writing has happened, then let it happen from closeness, which today more than ever comes transverbed with heartbreak, disbelief and stupor.
