Ricardo, fellow traveler and friend

Abstract

More than forty years have passed since Ricardo and I met at the Oviedo women's institute, and since then a close friendship has been forged that continues to this day without interruption. There we coincided with Alberto Hidalgo and from there came the project of writing a History of Philosophy for the Anaya publishing house when we had already parted ways, Ricardo moved to Madrid, Alberto to his chair in Avilés and I to mine in Gijón.
