Abstract
The Mexican historic school was the result of
the effort by generations of thinkers who
pondered on the problem of the historicity
from a perspective which linked historiography
and philosophy. The method that they
developed was a smooth phenomenology of
the concept through which they wanted to
build a bridge between the historian's live
context and the lived past whose sense have
sought to understand. The present article aims
to analyze the theoretical contribution of three
distinguished
thinkers
of
successive
generations of this school, which were building
and developing these phenomenological
method, beginning with the philosopher José
Gaos, continuing with his pupil Edmundo
O'Gorman and closing with the youngest Juan
Antonio Ortega y Medina. To gain access to a
language which succeeds in make us known
the historical phenomenon, these authors
explored the spatial bonds from those which is
formed the conscience.
