Abstract
This article proposes an original presentation of the phenomenologist Marc Richir starting from his reading of Melville, in particular of Moby Dick and, by there, leads to an alive synthesis of the exceptional richness of the most fundamental concepts that its philosophy invented. Ultimately, the put question amounts wondering, in fine, which are we ourselves, us human ?
