Abstract

To make enter in philosophical resonance one
of the American great painters XX century,
Rothko Mark, with one of the most important
representatives
of
contemporary French
phenomenology, Marc Richir, is the object of
this contribution. One and the other meets,
each one with their manner, a version sublime
of the absolute transcendence which to it only
gives all the measurement of their art, pictorial
for the first, philosophical for the second,
unless it is the opposite at the same time, so
much they are interlaced !
