Abstract
In this text we try to understand the
elaboration of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy as
the improvement of a very same analysis of the
lived world. First, we discuss the perception of
a thing and the perception of others exposed in
the Phenomenology of Perception, with special
focus on the notion of perceptual habit. This
step will allow us to understand the general
theses concerning concept of institution
presented in the course notes on the Institution
and Passivity from 1955.
