Abstract
This article revolves around the phenomenon of cultural intoxication that occurs after certain wars between nations, where the defeated party usually imposes itself culturally on the enemy in the later peace, contaminating the sources of their spiritual strength. The paradigmatic case is undoubtedly the conquest of Greece by the Roman Empire, but other recent examples in history can be found, such as the one dealt with in this article regarding the German influence on the United States. at the end of the Second World War.
