Abstract
This paper aims to systematize the post-‐‑structuralist topic of
the death of the author through Roland Barthes, Michel
Foucault and Umberto Eco theoretical works. The
differences between their views are shown and a useful and
specific idea is settled, in order to confront the abstract
concept with the literary works: digital literature is chosen
as a privileged example.
