Abstract
The figure of St. Paul is extremely interesting from every point of view. So it is easy to find a multitude of studies nearly most of them with a confessional character on the religious or theological contributions to nascent Christianity. However we haven’t found any analysis of what rhetorical resources were used by St. Paul to a better expansion of his doctrine. In this article we look at some of the rhetorical figures of the Epistle to the Romans and how St. Paul is using them to expand the strong ideology which for centuries has made the Church of Rome be the institution that has remained more years despite the historical events.
