Abstract
Criticizing Leonor, Apprentice Queen from the perspective of philosophical materialism is complex, given that Ignacio Monar does not subscribe to this movement. The study is organized into two areas: the formal structure, inspired by Juan de Mariana's De rege et regis institutione, and the material structure, which reflects an unsystematic, accessible philosophy with a humorous tone unusual in political reflection. Monar defends an optimistic and Christian vision of the monarchy, although its current role is merely symbolic. Finally, he argues that the monarchy itself requires critical review and reformulation adapted to contemporary reality.
