Abstract

With his existential analysis, it seems to us that Heidegger seeks to resolve the question that Aristotle opened for the study of ontology when he stated that beings are said to be in several senses. Heidegger understands that, since beings are said to be in several senses, it appears that the question of the meaning of Being not only becomes the leitmotiv of the investigation of Being at all, but also establishes from itself the need to conduct the forwarding such an investigation through the question about the conditions of possibility of the metaphysical approach to Being as an entity of beings. The philosopher also understands that the appropriate starting point for this purpose consists in conceiving the question of understanding Being as a priority issue. With this article, we intend to clarify precisely how Heidegger, based on his own understanding of Aristotle's philosophy, manages to legitimize the need for existential analytics through his phenomenological method of research, as a preliminary study of ontological investigation, fixing the very way this is conceived the understanding of Being.
