Abstract
Among the contributions made by various organizations to the Tribute Conference for the Centenary of the Birth of Gustavo Bueno, which took place at the University of Oviedo at the initiative of the Department of Philosophy between October 24 and 25, 2024, the publishing house Rema y Vive organized the edition of the commemorative notebook we are reviewing. The volume includes documents that we could consider historical, such as the 1992 interview for the magazine Epilepsia —from the IES Piles de Gijón—, conducted by Juan José R. Rey, María José Arias and Silvia Cosío, or the 2014 interview —for the magazine Amicus Plato, from the IES Doña Jimena de Gijón—, conducted by a large group of students from that public school, as well as the interview, also from 2014, conducted by Antonio Rico for La Nueva España, in which it is clear that Bueno is not afraid of Tony Soprano. The book also includes the complete series of three lectures on Science, Technology and Society (STS) given at the Jovellanos High School in March 2000, including all the contributions from the audience, including philosophy professors such as Santiago Sagredo, David Alvargonzález, and Gustavo Bueno's tireless friend, José María Laso Prieto.
