Resumen
Luego de los recientes ataques perpetrados por ISIS a Paris (2015), que dejó el triste saldo de 137 personas muertas y más de 400 heridos. Este evento es trágico no por sus consecuencias sino por la alta probabilidad de volver a repetirse. En los últimos años, ISIS y sus líderes declararon una guerra manifiesta contra Occidente y alertaron que sus principales centros de esparcimiento, consumo, turismo y diversión serán blancos de los próximos ataques. Sin lugar a dudas, la vulnerabilidad de los turistas por desconocer parte del territorio visitado es uno de los factores principales por los cuales el terrorismo se ve por demás interesado en el turismo. Empero, hay una realidad subyacente que habla no por lo que dice, sino por lo que oculta. En este ensayo filosófico, discutiremos hasta que punto la lucha contra el terror es una
empresa perdida, sino también que el turismo es el terrorismo por otras vías. El terrorismo, en tanto que construido por la lógica racional, es el propio espejo de Occidente y/o el signo de su descomposición.
