Cities of anonymity; diasporic, borders and chronotopes

Abstract

The city as a collective fact is manifested, fundamentally, in the network of public spaces. The interrogation by the new senses of the public space acquires an anthropological and aesthetic dimension. Thinking about the places and the urban forms of relationship - the accelerated circulation of people - allows us to define the new ways of being human, to see the new forms of solitude and isolation in an overpopulated city, the isolation of the individual in the middle of the networks and roads of information, the interweaving of diverse socio-aesthetic productions that generate metaphorical and fragmented cities, where the heterogeneity and the dispersion of the national identity signs makes us one with respect to others in passers-by who barely exchange fugitive glances, disfigured, with a veiled face , true specters, figures of anonymity, dispossessed of our identity by the speed of our real or virtual displacements.
